The next step in producing the cotton fabric is washing it. The cotton for the project T-shirt was washed Adhithiya Textiles Process, a company based in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India. Adhithiya processed the knitted fabric and washed it in an environmentally friendly way. The T-shirt which was produced for the project is beige, retaining the natural color of the cotton. This choice was intentional, as it eliminated the need for bleaching and dyeing, significantly reducing the environmental impact of the fabric’s production.
